The Region of Queens has been experiencing their very own nightmare on Elm Street.
Until now the municipality has had two streets named “Elm” making it particularly tricky for emergency service providers.
Mayor David Dagley says they’ve come up with a fun way to solve the problem– let the people decide.
“We have asked that people consider the name of an individual who had lived in Liverpool and had a significant impact on the quality of life for people in the area.”
People have until April 14 to submit possible names honouring past or present residents who’ve made a positive impact on the community.
The winner will be announced in late May.
