The search for a new emblem in the Municipality of Chester is down to two.
Council has narrowed their list to a pair of images that feature sailing and forestry themes.
It’s up to the public to have their say by casting a vote by Wednesday’s deadline.
Warden Allen Webber says he’s comfortable with either one.
“It’s very, very difficult to not be subjective about it but I think they are both well done and represent Chester for the purpose we intended them to.”
The new image will be used for rebranding and marketing and will not replace the coat of arms.
Votes will be tabulated at Thursday’s council meeting at Forest Heights Community School.
