Drivers Caught Stunting In Lunenburg County

Four men have been charged for stunting after driving over 160 kilometres an hour on Highway 103.

RCMP say the incidents occurred from October 19 and today between Exits 9 and 12 in Lunenburg County.

The charges involve men between 20 and 49 years-old from Chester, Bridgewater, Halifax and Chester Basin.

Drivers can be charged for stunting when they drive at speeds of more than 50 km/h over the posted speed limit.

Stunting carries a fine of over $2,400, six demerit points on a person’s licence, a seven-day driving suspension and vehicle impoundment for a week.
