Early Predictions For A Snowstorm Friday Have Fizzled

Good news from Environment Canada!

A major winter storm that had been forecast for tomorrow now appears it will be a bust around here.

Meteorologist Ian Hubbard tells us a storm developing south of New York will now move further south of us than first forecast.

“And develop and strengthen on Friday but it is going to remain further south than previously thought”, says Hubbard. “So, the precipitation we will get from this will start frist thing in the morning but will only amount to about 5 cm.”

It will clear up by Friday afternoon ahead of sunshine for Saturday and another snowstorm on Sunday.
