The emergency department at the hospital in Lunenburg is closed for today.
The Nova Scotia Health Authority says there isn’t enough staff to cover the shift at Fishermen’s Memorial.
People with emergencies should contact 911 or visit South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater.
The department will re-open at 7:30 Sunday morning.
