Several emergency department closures are coming up for Roseway Hospital in Shelburne.
The Nova Scotia Health Authority says the department will close tomorrow at 5pm until Saturday morning at 8.
It will close again Saturday at 5pm until Tuesday, Boxing Day at 8am.
This is due to physician availability.
Despite the closures, the NSHA says they’ll continue to work to find coverage for these shifts.
They say they are also working on preventing closures next week after Christmas.
They will advise if any changes to the schedule occur.
Roseway has been plagued by several emergency department closures in 2017 due to a lack of physician coverage.
