Lunenburg RCMP is investigating a fatal accident in Simpson’s Corner.
They were called to the scene on Highway 208 around 4 o’clock this afternoon.
Police say a truck left the road and went into the ditch killing the 25-year-old driver.
Preliminary investigation determined another car was involved.
Police were able to locate the other driver in Queens County shortly past 7 p.m.
The 34-year-old man has been charged with impaired driving, failing to remain at the scene of a collision, and dangerous driving.
He will face those charges in Lunenburg Provincial Court at a later date.
