Flower Named To Team Canada For World Under-17 Hockey Challenge

A hockey player from Lunenburg will lace up his skates against top prospects from all over the world.

Walter Flower will represent Canada at the World Under-17 challenge in British Columbia.

Flower is among three Nova Scotians to be selected.

The tournament features teams from Russia, Finland, the U.S, Czech Republic and Sweden.

It gets underway on November 1 in Dawson’s Creek and Fort St. John.

Flower has played seven games with the Halifax Mooseheads this season.
