They’ll be cooking up a storm at the Forties Community Centre. The federal government has awarded the community centre with just over $7,000 to spruce up their kitchen. The money will help replace its stove and two freezers. MP Gerald Keddy made the funding announcement last week. The Forties Community Centre hosts a variety of events in New Ross throughout the year including dinners, crib tournaments and craft fairs.
