Franny’s Cafe – Sourdough all the way!
The inspiration behind the name Franny’s Cafe:
Cafe owner, Jodie, discovered sourdough and just had to share it. She named her sourdough starter Franny.
Jodie originally took online orders for Franny’s Sourdough, sold at markets, and has now expanded to a cafe. In the evolution Franny’s Sourdough has become Franny’s Cafe.
All the breads are made in house, and even the desserts are made with Franny – the sourdough starter.
Sourdough has lots of benefits; enhanced digestibility, lowers the glycemic index, and increases nutrient absorption but when I indulged in a cheesecake cookie the most noticeable benefit was taste. Yummy – best cookie imaginable.

And then there is the cheesecake cookie drizzled with caramel that was absolutely the best and worth repeating.
I also need to let you know about the cinnamon roll everyone is talking about – I’m saving that for my next visit.
