Freeman Farm To Table event a huge success

WOW is all I can say!
What a night it was last night at the Freeman Farm to Table event for the Kidney Foundation.
The packed house was treated to a great band with “Dave and His So-Called Friends” in the company of some of the nicest folks you will ever meet all for a great cause.
The delicious food was served up at a location in Port Mouton many had never experienced before, Bull Point Estate. Talking with the owner he was telling me that Samuel de Champlain spent a summer at that location in 1604 before travelling on to LaHave. All I can say is, good thing he had a hunger to explore as many would have just stayed there enjoying that beautiful location and never made it any further, haha.
Last night on that little point of paradise, history was made.
The sold out event saw the raffle tickets sell out, a very successful live auction and the crowd also again gained more awareness of the challenges and advancements around life with kidney disease.
At the end of the night I had the pleasure of announcing the largest total ever raised at this event. This money raised will stay here in Atlantic Canada for research and to better the lives of those living with kidney disease.

The 4th annual Freeman Farm To Table event raised $208,631.50
