A frozen pipe burst and caused flooding at Queens General Hospital in Liverpool.
The Nova Scotia Health Authority says it happened Saturday afternoon around 4 p.m.
The flooding was isolated to a 1989 wing that contains rehabilitation services and a file room.
There was also some leakage to the basement maintenance and storage areas.
Fire crews responded immediately and cleared the area.
The emergency department remains open.
The health authority says some rehabilitation service appointments scheduled for Monday may be postponed.
A decision will be made today.
