Fuel prices for diesel set to drop as interrupter clause activated

Nova Scotia drivers will see a drop in diesel prices overnight as the interrupter clause is activated.

Diesel fuel is set to fall by about 13.0 cents a litre, bringing the minimum price to roughly $253.5 a litre.

Regular gas prices are not changing and will remain around $181.6 a litre.

The interrupter clause allows fuel prices to be adjusted outside the normal weekly schedule when there is a significant change in market conditions.

The new diesel price takes effect at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday.
