A small increase in the price at the pumps this week in New Brunswick.
Regular self serve gasoline increased $0.7 cents a litre.
Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says this is the second week of increases but he sees better things to come for the month ahead.
“Future looks a lot better now that demand is behind us and speculators really have no where to turn to try to assist in popping up prices. I think we’re going to be looking at some pretty decent decreases heading into September.”
Diesel also increased by $0.3 cents a litre.
Prices in Nova Scotia could change at midnight tonight.
