A Chezzetcook man is facing assault charges.
RCMP responded to a home near Halifax Shopping Center around 8PM last night.
They say the homeowner discovered the man inside his house and the two struggled.
The man fled but RCMP were able to locate him with the help of a police dog.
The 21-year-old also faces a break-and-enter charge.
He remains in custody.
