Halifax Consultants To Develop Study For Chester Business Park

Chester has hired a pair of Halifax groups to see if an industrial park suits the area. CBCL Consulting Engineers and Jozsa Management and Economics of Halifax were awarded the contract recently by the municipality. The study will identify opportunities for industrial development and provide locations for such a park. CAO Tammy Wilson says it is part of their strategic plan. She says, “I think it’s progressive to take a look at what the demands are and how the municipality can work to meet those demands and needs of our businesses and industries in our region.” The cost of the study is $49,635. Work will begin immediately with a final report expected in March.
