The holiday season will be a little less merrry for at least nine people.
Police nabbed nine drunk drivers in Nova Scotia in an eight hour span over the weekend.
Most of the arrests happened at various checkpoints in Halifax.
However, three people were arrested at crash scenes.
Police say all nine are facing impaired driving charges.
RCMP across the Maritimes are making their presence felt on the highways leading up to the holidays.
