The body of a missing Truro police officer has been found in Halifax.
Regional Police found human remains overnight.
Thirty-six year-old Catherine Campbell was reported missing on Monday when she failed to show up to work.
Initially, police believed she was last seen at her home in Dartmouth.
However, the investigation has revealed she was at a bar in downtown Halifax early Friday morning.
A Facebook posting by her family confirms it is the body of Campbell.
Police arrested a 27-year-old Halifax man this morning.
He is currently being questioned – no charges have been laid.
