Halloween Decorations

I have mentioned before that I don’t get into the decorating for Halloween too much. I do a bit, but it’s not a big thing with me. Others obviously feel differently. And it could be worth a drive around to0 check out some of that decorating.

Christmas used to be the time for such activities. The drive to see the Christmas lights and decorations was a highlight of the season for many. Halloween may soon require a sightseeing tour of it’s own.

Inflatables have become a big thing over the past few years. The do make for easy decorating. Throw ’em on the lawn, plug ’em in and away you go.

But I think I have stumbled upon where they live.

I have been told there are a couple displays around Bridgewater that are pretty impressive, but one near Liverpool really caught my eye the other evening.

I think they have ALL the inflatables. There are jack-o-lanterns, ghosts, ghouls, cats… lots of different things. I tried to take a picture, but there was no possible way to get all of them in one shot. Maybe with a drone, but I didn’t have one of those handy. They go down both sides of the house and across the front. And you really need to stop and look carefully to take them all in.

It’s pretty impressive… and maybe just a little bit scary. If you listen carefully I swear you can hear the sound of the power meter spinning.
