Nova Scotia will face another dose of wet weather before things start to look up.
Environment Canada says a significant amount of rain is expected today across the province.
A low pressure system approaching from New England is tracking across Nova Scotia.
Rain will be heavy at times this morning and is expected to diminish to scattered showers tonight.
Areas like Lunenburg and Queens counties are forecasted to get 30 to 40 millimetres.
However, Shelburne and Yarmouth counties are under a rainfall warning with 60 millimetres or more possible.
The good news, though, sun and cloud is in the forecast for the South Shore and Tri-Counties tomorrow until early next week.
