The O’Regan’s Subaru Western Hurricanes lost to Cape Breton 4-3 in a shootout.
Kurtis Lang scored twice while Bradley LeBlanc added the other goal.
Morgan Kini stopped 34 shots in the loss.
The Hurricanes have one win, three losses and two shootout losses through six games.
The major bantam hockey club are off this weekend. They will play the Novas on October 17 in Port Hawkesbury.
