The O’Regan’s Subaru Western Hurricanes got by the ACCEL Hawks 3-2 yesterday in Halifax. Ben Charles scored twice for Western while Mason Beck had the other goal. The Hurricanes are back on the ice Saturday against the Harbour Storm in Liverpool.
The Charlie’s Pizza South Shore Mustangs edged the Miramichi Rivermen 2-1 yesterday in New Brunswick. Ryan O’Toole and Connor Goodick scored for the Mustangs. Their next game is Saturday night in Bridgewater against Cole Harbour.
