An inmate has died at the Dorchester Penitentiary.
54 year old Robert Lionel Hartt was found unresponsive in his cell.
Corrections staff performed CPR with no success.
Hartt had been in prison since April of 2008, for failing to comply with a probation order and assault with a weapon in the Halifax area.
There’s no word on a cause of death.
