The Dexter government says it will cover insulin pumps for children with Type 1 diabetes and pay for the pump’s supplies for those under 25. The government estimates the move will cost 5.3 million dollars a year, which is a fraction of the Health Department’s overall 3.9-billion-dollar budget.
