The Island Trap Schooners won the Nova Scotia Intermediate AA Baseball title over the weekend.
The team went 3-0 in round-robin play to take the banner at the F.A. Brannen Memorial Field in Clark’s Harbour.
In their first game against Hammonds Plains on Friday, they won 14-13, with Andy Swim picking up game MVP honours.
They defeated the Truro Bearcats 15-0 in their next game Saturday, with Jeff Ross winning MVP.

Pitcher Tristan Reede was the MVP as the Schooners defeated the Pictou County Royals 10-3 later that day.
Because of their perfect record, and the tournament being double elimination, championship games were not needed on Sunday.
