Bridgewater commuters will have to deal with the morning congestion a little while longer.
The Town of Bridgewater has announced repair work on the Old Bridge will continue until Friday the 23rd.
The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal crew have been delayed due to the recent weather.
Over the course of repairs, they’ve discovered more work that needs to be done.
Old Bridge will remain closed to cars and pedestrians as work continues.
While the repairs are expected to be complete by November 23rd, cars will have to wait until that Sunday to cross the bridge due to Christmas on the LaHave activities taking place on Saturday the 24.
The bridge will be open to pedestrians for that event.
