Lahave River Fountain May Not Run This Season After All

The Lahave River Fountain may not flow again this season.
Patrick Hirtle is a spokesperson for the town and he says they are still waiting on a part for the fountain.
“Our supplier hasn’t been able to supply a motor for us yet. They’re still trying to. We don’t have an estimate of when they might be coming”, says Hirtle.
The original motor for the fountain broke down earlier this season.
Hirtle says whether or not the fountain flows this year all depends on when that part comes in.
The town has set aside a budget of $7,000.
That includes funds for installation, staffing and renting a crane.
The fountain was first installed in the river in the summer of 2010.
