Liverpool: 24-Hour RV Park Gets Provincial Approval

A 24-hour RV park in Liverpool has been approved by the Nova Scotia government.

The province has issued a license to the Friends of Hank Snow Society to have an unserviced campground.

It will be located across the road from the Hank Snow Home Town Museum.

Administrator Kelly Inglis says there is no cost to use the park.

“What we wanted to do is have this as a 24-hour RV park that people just make a donation if they so wish to, which would help with the upkeep.”

Inglis hopes the park will attract more people to the area.

The 24-hour park will not be available August 18-21 when the annual Hank Snow Tribute gets underway.

The Society applies for a special license which allows around 150 RVs to attend.
