Liverpool: Former Nauss Brothers Property Used For Apartment Buildings

Two eight-unit apartment buildings will be constructed on Barss Street in Liverpool.

The Region of Queens sold 32 acres of property to Kent Fields Estates Limited for $55,000.

Mayor David Dagley says the property is formerly known as the Nauss Brothers lands.

Construction is expected to begin immediately.

“We need housing accommodation and with that we’ll grow our population which is a prime priority of council.”

Kent Field Estates Limited is no stranger to the South Shore.

They have developed projects including the Quarterdeck rebuild and expansion in Summerville Centre.

Dagley says he looks forward to seeing the two complexes once they are built.
