It’s considered a first for the South Shore.
The South Shore Home, Sport, and Travel Expo will be held April 28-30, 2017 at Queens Place Emera Centre in Liverpool.
The expo is expected to be an annual event, showcasing home, sport and travel industry experts.
Mayor Christopher Clarke says he’s pleased to offer the expo to residents.
“It’s a real opportunity to come and see the goods if you hunt or fish or just like to be outdoors. They are opportunities to get your hands on things and see what’s happening.”
Clarke says he expects people from across the South Shore and Annapolis Valley to attend the event.
He says it’s difficult to predict but wouldn’t be surprised if the economic impact is in the millions of dollars.
Clarke says the show will attract outdoor enthusiasts, adventure seekers and contractors to Liverpool.
