Two South Shore companies are among 11 to be celebrated at the provincial export awards.
Sea Star Seafoods Limited of Clark’s Harbour, Shelburne County and Terra Beata Farms of Heckman’s Island, Lunenburg County will be honoured in Halifax.
Other businesses that will be recognized are from Digby County, North Sydney, Truro and Antigonish.
One of the 11 companies will also be named exporter of the year.
Premier-elect Stephen McNeil says the efforts of all exporters contributes to economic growth across the province, creates jobs and makes Nova Scotia stronger.
The ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday at Pier 21.
