An issue thats concerning Lunenburg West MLA Mark Furey these days is the state of the ER at South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater.
He says a long-planned overhaul and expansion with most of the money now in place should roll ahead ASAP.
Furey says: “It will be important to those who work in the environment, important to those who utilize that environment and the larger picture, valuable for our community in that South Shore Regional will truly be a regional hospital.”
There’s no word yet on when the proposed expansion might go ahead.
