It’s been a big day for the Liberal party of Canada.
Prime minister Trudeau and his cabinet were sworn in this morning and the rest of the MP’s will follow next week.
Local MP-elect Bernadette Jordan says she wants to bring South Shore issues to Ottawa.
She says despite all the excitement she hasn’t lost sight of that goal.
“I’ve already had a number of people who I’ve talked to who I want to meet with,” she says. “Once we’re settled a little bit more, then we’ll get to work trying to make things happen there.”
Jordan is expected to be sworn in by the end of next week.
