A Lunenburger and newly-minted Memorial Cup champion is now a CIBC Wood Gundy Lumberjack. Brennan Bailey’s rights were acquired by the Jacks during yesterday’s Maritime Hockey League draft in Pictou. Bailey finished last season with the Halifax Mooseheads. Meanwhile, Tyler Boland of St. John’s, Newfoundland was taken second overall by the Lumberjacks. He had 43 points in 40 games last season in Midget ‘AAA.’ The Lumberjacks also selected Chester natives Alex Nauss and Corey Peterson in the 46th and 67th overall, respectively.
