In MHL action last night in Amherst, the South Shore Lumberjacks edged the Ramblers 4-3.
Cray Roberge and Layton Parsons scored third period goals to erase a 3-2 deficit.
Nick Fitzgerald also scored for the Jacks, who have won three straight and opened up a nine point lead over the Ramblers in the race for the final playoff spot in the Eastlink South division.
The Lumberjacks have also closed to within five points of the first place Valley Wildcats.
The Cats are slated to be in Bridgewater tonight for a 7 o’clock contest.
