Solid goaltending and an explosive second period propelled the South Shore Junior ‘A’ Lumberjacks to a 4-1 win over the Pictou County Weeks Crushers last night in Bridgewater.
The ‘Jacks erupted for four second period goals, including two in 17 seconds, as they erased a 1-0 deficit.
Max Robitaille, Makail Parker, Seth Schmidt, and Layton Parsons scored while Adrian Clark turned aside 36 shots.
The win evens the best of seven Eastlink South Division final at a game apiece.
The Crushers host game three tomorrow night in New Glasgow.
