Solid goaltending and an explosive second period propelled the South Shore Junior ‘A’ Lumberjacks to a 4-1 win over the Pictou County Weeks Crushers last night in Bridgewater.

The ‘Jacks erupted for four second period goals, including two in 17 seconds, as they erased a 1-0 deficit.
