A rare Wednesday night Junior ‘A’ contest tonight in Bridgewater.
The South Shore Lumberjacks will host the division-leading Pictou County Weeks Crushers.
It’s a make-up game for the two teams after their original contest before Christmas was cancelled due to a winter storm.
Pictou is coming in hot, winning their last five games.
The Crushers haven’t lost since December 10, 2016 to the Truro Bearcats.
Meanwhile, the Lumberjacks opened 2017 with back-to-back wins over Campbellton before dropping their last three to Miramichi, Yarmouth and Truro.
Puck drop is at 7 p.m at the Clearwater Seafoods Arena.
