Lumberjacks Ranked 12th In Canada After Perfect Start

The South Shore Lumberjacks got their season off to the perfect start winning their first two games of the season.

It started with a road game to Pictou where they took down the Weeks Crushers 4-2, they followed that up with a 5-4 win at home against the Cambletton Tigers.

Those results led the Canadian Junior Hockey League putting the Jacks on their list of the top 20 teams in the nation.

The Jacks were ranked 12th amongst all CJHL teams in the country, two other MHL teams were also on the list with the Summerside Western Capitals ranked 10th and the Fredricton Red Wings were ranked 13th.

Cole Julian is currently leading the Jacks in points with four, coming from one goal and three assists.

The Jacks are back in action this Friday with a home game against the Truro Bearcats. Tickets are available now and can be purchased online or at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre.
