Lumberjacks Win Streak Halted at Three

The South Shore Lumberjacks had their three game winning streak snapped by St. Stephen.
The Aces defeated the ‘Jacks 6-5 last night in Bridgewater.
The two teams traded the lead for the first 40 minutes before a pair of St. Stephen goals gave the Aces a two goal cushion midway through the third.
Nick Fitzgerald made it a one goal game with seven minutes left but the Lumberjacks’ rally fell short.
Other Lumberjack goals were scored by Simon Lavoie, Ian MacPhee, Mateo Short, and Jonathan Mason.
The Lumberjacks host the Valley Wildcats tonight at 7 p.m. at the Clearwater Seafood Arena in the LCLC.
