A Lunenburg couple’s dream could soon take flight thanks to the Awesome Foundation of the South Shore.
Terilyn and J.P. Lemaire are this month’s winners of a thousand dollars for their idea to operate tethered hot-air balloon rides over Lunenburg.
They already run a hot-air ballooning company in the valley and felt the views of Lunenburg harbour were a natural fit for the experience.
The couple still need to approach the town about running the operation.
They already have a site picked out and the thousand dollars will buy them the tethers they need.
The next Awesome award will be handed out at the end of April.
