Lunenburg council has reconsidered a decision to move playground equipment out of its 250th Anniversary park.
Mayor Rachel Bailey says an initial staff report suggested the equipment wasn’t being used and recommended moving it.
But people have spoke to council and the mayor about the idea.
“Council was open to reconsidering the decision that was made based on what people and the public had to tell us about the use of that equipment.”
The playground will stay in place for now.
Council will revisit the issue in the new year.
