A special day for Lunenburg’s Walter Flower.
The 16 year-old was selected in the second round of Saturday’s Quebec Major Junior Hockey League draft in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
He was drafted 26th overall by the Halifax Mooseheads.
Flower was busy on the ice this past season, helping the Charlie’s Pizza South Shore Mustangs reach game seven of the NS major midget semi-final.
He also represented Nova Scotia at the Canada Winter Games and QMJHL Gatorade Excellence Challenge.
