The mayor’s seat is the only one being contested in Mahone Bay on October 15.
Six names filed for councillor and with only six seats, they are all acclaimed.
Some familiar names will continue to represent the town including current councillors Penny Carver, John Bain and Karl Nauss.
There are also new faces to be sworn-in including Richard Nowe, Simone Chia-Kangata and Joseph Maxwell Feeney, the son of current mayor, Joseph C. Feeney.
The mayor’s race is between David Davenne and Kelly Wilson.
Both are currently on council.
Christian Maguire also acclaimed the school board seat for Mahone Bay and Lunenburg, serving district five.
