It probably won’t be very peaceful but it will certainly be cute.
A group of yoga practitioners in Lunenburg County will get the chance to strike some poses while baby goats play between their limbs.
Heather Squires, Owner of Sweetwood Farms in Mahone Bay is putting on an afternoon of Goat Yoga on June 18.
“They are extremely cuddly. The way we raise our goats here is they’re bottle fed so, they are incredibly friendly and sociable. They love to interact with you.”
A viral video about goat yoga made the rounds earlier this year causing people to reach out to Squires who felt it might be a good fit.
She says it’s a great opportunity for people to see the farm and learn about the animals.
This event sold out in record time.
She says if it goes well she’ll think about doing another later in the year.
