Man dead after motorcycle crash in Head of Chezzetcook

A man is dead after a motorcycle crash in the Head of Chezzetcook.

RCMP say it was around 11:40 a.m., Saturday, when a patrolling officer noticed a motorcycle speeding on Highway 7 near Chezzetcook.

The officer tried to catch up to the driver who sped away even further until the motorcycle ended up in the ditch with the driver lying in the road.

The 42-year-old from Ostrea Lake died on scene.

The province’s medical examiner is involved in the investigation.
