MODL Mulls Marketing Coordinator For Lifestyle Centre

The Municipality of the District of Lunenburg is reviewing a request to hire a marketing coordinator at the LCLC.

The ask came to council in July by the facility’s board of directors.

It would see MODL split the $50,000 cost with the Town of Bridgewater to create the new position.

Mayor Carolyn Bolivar-Getson says council has referred the request to their audit and finance committee.

“There were questions that needed to be answered that really didn’t have the information there for council.”

Bolivar-Getson says questions remain about the job description and the coordinator’s responsibilities.

The Town of Bridgewater has already approved spending $25,000.

The next audit and finance committee meeting is scheduled for September 5.
