MODL Provides Drinking Water As Drought Continues

The Municipality of Lunenburg is the latest to offer a helping had for those experiencing a water shortage.

They’re offering coupons that can be cashed in at some grocery store for bottled water.

The vouchers will provide up to 16 liters of water per household per day that can be used for drinking or cooking.

The municipality is asking people to fill out a ‘dry well survey’ to help them understand the extent of the problem in the area.

They’ve also partnered with several facilities to provide showers and laundry services for those most in need.

Coupons can be picked up at the municipal offices on Aberdeen Road in Bridgewater.
