MODL Sets Dates For Community Input Meetings

Have an idea you’d like to share with the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg?

Residents are being urged to express their concerns and thoughts at one of six “Your Government Your Ideas” meetings in the fall.

Each one will include Q&A sessions, and small group discussions.

Mayor Carolyn Bolivar-Getson says they are a good way to connect with the community.

“I know that the direction that we have taken in the last year was reflective of when we started in October. I just want to make sure if the residents still feel that we’re going in that direction and if they have some new input that they would like to provide to us.”

The meetings will be held in Barss Corner, Dayspring, Oakhill, Italy Cross, Wileville and on Big Tancook Island.

Bolivar-Getson notes she will provide an update on accomplishments in the community and is hoping to hear input on what else can be done moving forward.

Meeting dates and times are listed below.
