A Lunenburg group is looking to partner with municipal council in finding an area for an off-leash dog park. The local residents are requesting help in acquiring land, because they feel a dog park could be a great addition to the community. Mayor Don Downe says they’re looking at their options. But, he adds, he’s not sure if there’s a demand in the municipality.
Downe says there’s also the issues of liability and insurance to think about as well. The matter was sent to committee for review.
