The trial for a Mount Pleasant woman charged with impaired driving in the death of her nine-year-old daughter opens today in Bridgewater.
Candice Roxanne Moore also faces a charge of refusing to submit to a breathalyzer.
Nine-year-old Olive Moore died in January 2013 after a van ran her over in a Pleasantville driveway.
The trial was expected to happen last September.
However, a death in the family of a main witness postponed it.
Five days have been set aside this week in Bridgewater Provincial Court.
